The scientific student activity, which was held by the Department of Life Sciences within the immunology subject for the third stage, entitled (Immunology and Food), and on the gardens of the University College of Science, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. All departments of the college.
The activity included displaying a group of foods that are a source of strengthening the immune system in the body.
This activity comes as part of a series of scientific activities that this values evaluate annually because of its great scientific benefit to the participating students as well as to the college students in general.
The Dean praised such scientific activities in terms of organization and the amount of adequate scientific information provided by the participating students and blessed the efforts of the workers to make such activities successful and accomplished.
For his part, Dr. Osama Bassem Al-Saffar, the teaching and supervisor of this activity, said that the aim of establishing this scientific activity is to expand the students’ knowledge of foodstuffs and their types that benefit the human body, especially as we live in the conditions of the Corona pandemic that require strengthening the immune system in the body, especially those presented in the activity, stressing that Food and its intake effectively extends the vitality of the immune system.
